The more an installer knows about your project at the start, the quicker and more accurate the quote. Here is a simple checklist of what to have to hand before you get in touch.
The site and the building
Tell us where the site is, what type of building it is and whether it is a new build, an extension or a refurbishment. If drawings or specifications exist, send them with your enquiry. If you are not sure what you have, a short description is a good place to start.
What needs installing
Say which services are involved: gas pipework, heating and chilled water, hot and cold water, drainage, or a mix. If you need pre-fabricated pipework or a full mechanical package, mention that too. Our services pages set out what we install.
The gas supply
If you know where the existing or proposed gas supply comes in, or what equipment will be connected, include it. If the supply route is still to be decided, say so, as that affects how the work is planned.
Programme and access
Give a rough start date and any deadlines, and note anything that affects access such as working hours, other trades on site or site induction requirements.
Who to contact
Include a name, phone number and email for the person we should speak to about the project.
Not sure about some of it?
That is fine. Send what you have and we will tell you what else we need. You can request a free quote or call 07933 124142. For help with budgeting, see our guide to commercial gas installation costs.
